CELINA, Texas— Construction is now under way on Celina Summit Crossing, a neighborhood retail project with pad sites located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Glendenning Parkway and Preston Road. The project will incorporate 12,562 square feet of multi-tenant space with endcap drive-thru and/or patio options. The center also features approximately three acres of pad sites, with one set for a location of a Murphy USA gas.
Weitzman is managing the development of Celina Summit Crossing under the direction of Ryan Bertrand, senior vice president of development with Weitzman. Chas Fisher, senior vice president and head of construction for Weitzman, is directing the construction on the center. Weitzman’s Emilie Paulson, Ben Terry, Avery Frisbie and Bryn Carden handle leasing for the center.
Celina Summit Crossing, with completion set for the second quarter of 2026, is designed to service the fast-growing population of Celina, one of the nation’s fastest-growing communities. The center’s tenant mix includes White Rhino Coffee, Club Pilates and T-Mobile. A significant amenity for the center is a 1.7-acre pond area that will act as a park and greenspace for the development, offering walkways, benches, fountains and LED lighting accents.
The site for the center sits directly in front of residential developments with more than 280 lots underway and fronts on greenspace and trails. Within a three-mile radius of the planned center, the population totals 36,100 residents in 10,796 households with an average household income of more than $214,000.
