PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Joyce Watson, a professional with more than 30 years of experience providing administrative support to C-suite executives, is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of Weitzman, one of the largest retail-focused commercial real estate services firms based in Texas. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, working with vendors and suppliers regarding office equipment and supplies, managing invoices and payments, planning and coordinating office events, and providing administrative support to the President & CEO of the company. Watson transcribes all board meeting minutes to create an official record of corporate discussions, actions, and decisions made. Watson is also responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of the company's participation in trade shows and other industry events including budgets, logistics, vendor coordination, booth setup, and ensuring the events run smoothly. Joyce is one of few go-to people for addressing employee inquiries and concerns throughout the company’s numerous functions and departments.

Prior to joining Weitzman in 1995, Watson previously worked with a Dallas-based multi-family management firm.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS  

Watson has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the retail real estate industry’s largest trade association, since 2013.
